300 Hour Pranayama, Bandhas, and Mudras, August 4-6

Pranayama, the fourth limb on the eight-limb path of yoga, is considered the bridge between the body and the mind and higher yoga practices. In this workshop, we will explore the many benefits, contraindications, and techniques of pranayama as well as how to effectively weave these practices into your yoga class. Bandhas, which aim to gather prana and redirect it into the sushumna nadi, is considered a mudra in ancient times and a key practice to advance on the yogic path. Learn how both bandhas and mudras can assist in directing prana, finding balance in the body, and awakening spiritual growth.
