Amanda Ross

Business + CEO Support

Amanda has traveled extensively and experienced life through the lens of a yoga instructor, massage therapist, healing arts business owner, and now business consult and CEO support for mission-driven entrepreneurs in WNC.

Shortly after graduating from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and a minor in Meeting and Event Planning, she began what she thought would be her career in food and beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort in Naples. However, she felt a change of heart and decided to pursue her longtime dedication to wellness.

In 2012, she earned her 200-hour Yoga Alliance instructor certification in Bonita Springs, Florida, and began instructing in a group setting. She then moved to San Francisco in 2015 where she became the studio manager for the Yoga Tree Stanyan in the Haight-Ashbury. Not long after, in 2017, she caught wind of the scenery and culture of Asheville and traveled there to complete a 675-intensive program to become a licensed massage and bodywork therapist. After all of this, she opened a healing arts business in West Asheville and operated it for four rewarding and professionally expansive years.

Amanda moved further into the quiet of the Smoky mountains to deep dive into a new path, build skills and work remotely. In 2022, she discovered a passion for working with conscious entrepreneurs to help them grow their business and impact in the community. Amanda feels blessed to have crossed paths with Candra and the Maggie Valley Wellness Center, and since joining the team, her leadership will continue to nurture their heart-centered mission and provide sustainable frameworks that help sow seeds of growth and well-being for our community.
